1) First option:
In Windows type in the search box:
a) Type in CMD then hit enter.
b) A command prompt window should pop-up
c) In the command prompt window enter:
Net Stop Spooler = to stop the printer spooler
Net Start Spooler = to start the printer spooler
2) Second option:
In Windows type in the search box:
a) Type in service.msc
b) A list of all the services pops-up:
c) Find the option for Print Spooler then right click to and select Stop once it shows the status as Stopped then right click and select Start.
*Note: Doing either of these options will clear out you printer queue on your local machine if you need to do this on the print server follow the same steps.
