Windows recovery Winload.exe missing issue

This issue can occur from Winload.exe or Windows Boot loader corruption.

As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest rebuilding the Boot Configuration Data protocol and see if the issue will persist:

  1. Download Windows 10 Media Creation tool in a USB or CD.
  2. Once done, insert eh USB or CD and restart your device.
  3. When prompted, press any key to boot from the USB/CD.
  4. Select Troubleshoot.
  5. From System Recovery Options, select Command Prompt.
  6. On the Command Prompt window, type bootrec /rebuildbcd and press Enter.
  7. Wait for the command to be processed.
  8. Once done, type exit to close the Command Prompt window.
  9. Remove the USB/CD once finished.

If the issue still persists, we recommend performing a Repair Upgrade using Windows 10 ISO file. Refer to this article written by Andre Da Costa for more information on how to perform a Repair Upgrade.

Note: Performing a Repair Upgrade can repair broken operating system files while preserving your personal files, settings, and installed applications.
